Sara McConneloug grew up picking blackberries, climbing trees and hiking on Mount Tam. Her love for the outdoors and fragrant blooms continues. Sara has spent 30 years in floral design after graduating from UC Davis and Dominican University. She collaborates with small scale organic farmers who use methods to build healthy soil that create strong blooms and reduce CO2. The primary farm is located in West Marin. The flowers are placed in water directly after harvest, creating a short route to your table or gathering. Butterflies, frogs, and birds are welcome frequent visitors in the field. In addition, emissions are curbed without traveling by airplane.

February through November is Northern California’s long growing season. Local flowers are unmatched in freshness and longevity: lasting approximately 10 days. Dry flower arrangements provide the ultimate value anytime of year. These demonstrate a wistfulness and a promise of enduring beauty.   see more
